GeoGulf 2020 Registration
PHYSICAL OR VIRTUAL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
ADDED VALUE FOR PHYSICAL ATTENDEES: All GeoGulf 2020 in-person attendees will receive complimentary registration for AAPG ACE 2020 Online. Important Note: Because AAPG ACE starts before our event, we will release AAPG login credentials so that GeoGulf pre-registrants can fully participate in AAPG ACE under the condition that failure to attend GeoGulf will result in additional charge for the difference between your GeoGulf registration and the AAPG ACE registration cost.
VIRTUAL GEOGULF 2020 OPTION: We are principally running our convention as a physical, in-person event. However, we have received a lot of interest regarding providing a virtual option for those unable to attend due to personal risk assessment or institutional restrictions. We are therefore pleased to offer a reduced-fee virtual registration, entitling virtual (and physical) registrants
to watch our live technical session feeds from the comfort of your home or office and recordings on our website at your convenience in on-demand format through Dec. 31, 2020. Note that Virtual Registration does NOT qualify for the matching AAPG registration, which is reserved solely for physical attendees. Note also that a few slots are available for our hybrid technical program (all live, mostly physical with a few select live virtual) and we are expanding our pre-recorded on-demand program (can range from 20 min to 1 hour)--if interested, please contact James Willis as soon as possible at james.willis@geogulf.org or jwillis3@lsu.edu.
There are four easy ways to register and pay for the GeoGulf 2020 Annual Convention:
1. Pay online (credit card required). Please click here for link to GeoGulf 2020 Payment Portal (you will be redirected from this site to our Square payment portal).
2. By e-mail (credit card only). Please click here for Registration Form PDF. Please complete digitally and email to register@geogulf.org. If registering for our Virtual GeoGulf 2020 option, please use the payment portal above (#1 option) or contact us at register@geogulf.org.
3. By mail (check or credit card; IMPORTANT: checks may be drawn on U.S.-based banks only). Please click here for Registration Form PDF. Please complete and send with payment to: GeoGulf 2020 Registration, 7190-C Cemetery Hwy., St. Martinville, LA 70582. Make checks payable to: GeoGulf 2020. If registering for our Virtual GeoGulf 2020 option, please use the payment portal above (#1 option) or contact us at register@geogulf.org.
4. By fax (credit card only) Fax your registration form, including credit card information, to 1-337-237-8120. Note: All registration, social event, optional tour, short course, and field trip fees must be paid IN FULL at the time of registration. All fax registrations not including credit card information or mail-in registrations received without credit card information or a signed check will be returned. If completing a printed or digital form, use one form per professional or student registrant. If registering for our Virtual GeoGulf 2020 option, please use the payment portalabove (#1 option) or contact us at register@geogulf.org.
If registering a spouse or guest, be certain to provide the individual’s name for the badge. Professionals may not register as spouses or guests. All speakers and poster presenters must be registered. Changes to your registration such as adding a spouse or guest, events, short courses, or field trips, and changing contact information may be made by sending an email to register@geogulf.org. Changes to your registration involving a refund (deleting events, short courses, or field trips or cancelling outright) must be made in writing to register@geogulf.org. A fee of $75 will be charged for all cancellations in full. NO REFUNDS will be issued after September 15, 2020.
